NOVATION rolls out DataVio solution for data processing automation

Well-known Hong Kong-based data security and automation firm, NOVATION, has reportedly unveiled its cloud-based solution, DataVio, for assisting businesses in automating processing as well as extracting valuable data from documents.

Apparently, the development of DataVio is in line with the company’s transition towards providing multiple private cloud solutions and digital products to clients to build upon its heritage in secure data handling.

DataVio deploys optical character recognition (OCR) technology to ensure that the data is extracted from written or printed text from scanned documents or images. This technology further converts the data into a machine-readable form that is ideal for subsequent processing.

Essentially, this newly launched solution concludes the automated data processing in major three steps – data extraction, then intelligent data processing, followed by the output data in convenient formats.

General Manager, Novation Solutions, Sin Wai Kin, addressed data as an inextricable component of a company’s lifeblood while stressing on DataVio’s assistance in managing time and maximizing efficiency in businesses by leveraging data and limiting valuable resources on manual processing.

Sin claimed that as data processing is necessary across every sector, DataVio will now offer digital solutions to real-world scenarios to limit human error in data extraction and processing.

Asserting the company’s commitment to usher businesses into the digital world with the help of automation and data security, Sin further stated that DataVio would reduce the need for manual data processing for enhancing the business services.

For the record, DataVio was introduced to businesses by SDH Group, the renowned subsidiary of Adera Global, which is Singapore’s prominent automation and data security contender.

This solution records multiple uses across a gamut of industries, ranging from banking and financial services, where it limits human error in client documents and application forms, to the healthcare and medical industry for preventing mistakes in data extraction. It is also applied to higher education and learning institutions for the ease of facilitating payment collections.
