ONE Esports has reportedly teamed up with Marriott International to introduce a 15-episode long gaming talk show. The apparent show is expected to feature gaming, esports athletes, industry experts, and influencer talents.
Every episode will be based on a theme ranging from popular gaming titles to exploring the various industry trends, while simultaneously highlighting the properties from the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio in Asia-Pacific.
Sources claimed that this will allow viewers to have a better experience in travel destinations through a gaming lens. The talk show will feature content that celebrates the diversity in gaming as well as esports culture in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, and Indonesia.
ONE Esports CEO Carlos Alimurung was reported saying that the objective of Gamer’s Paradise is to honor and celebrate esports by providing its audience with deep insights into the community as well as the ecosystem.
According to Vice President, Marketing, Loyalty & Partnerships at Marriott International Julie Purser, the world’s largest hotel chain intends to showcase how the gaming and digital worlds can draw inspiration, community, and energy from the revolutionizing travel space.
It is worth noting that ONE Esports had also teamed up with Marriott Bonvoy, an insurance company FWD, and fast-food major McDonald’s last year as a part of its efforts to scale esports on an international level. Alimurung has claimed that the group only works with the best who intend to take an active role in sharing and celebrating the esports ecosystem.
ONE Esports had also joined hands with HSBC back in February to address various financial fitness by developing personalized content to ensure players have optimal in-game resource management during multiplayer modes.
The company’s analytics and insights team is also researching the Southeast Asian esports community’s preferences related to financial services, cited sources with relevant information.
